The 1941-42 Fleischer Studios shorts were Superman's first animated theatrical adventures that not only created a definitive style but went on to influence animated portrayals of other comic book characters such as Batman: The Animated Series. Long revered as among the best of the superhero cartoons, these films are presented in newly restored 4K resolution from 35MM archival prints spearheaded by Max's granddaughter, Jane Fleischer Reid.</div><div><br></div><div>Programme will include the following cartoons: </div><div><br></div><div>- Koko's Earth Control</div><div>- Popeye - I Never Changes me Altitude</div><div>- Betty - Is My Palm Read?</div><div>- Superman Mini Doc</div><div>- Superman - Mad Scientist</div><div>- Terror on the Midway</div><div>- Arctic Giant</div><div><br></div><div>Join us in October and December for additional Saturday Max Fleischer programmes. </div></div>AnimatedPT1H15MNot Rated2026-11-21Bud Collyer
